Roxana Memetea
Chief Executive Officer
Roxana Memetea brings nearly 28 years of top-level management experience, having built and led high-performing agency teams throughout her career, with a consistent focus on growth, creative excellence and long-term business impact for clients.
Today, as CEO of BBDO Romania, she leads the agency’s fully integrated operations, bringing together creative, strategy, data, technology, and corporate communications as one unified system, shaped by decades at the top of the industry.
At just 25, she became one of the youngest Managing Directors in Romania, a milestone that marked the start of a career defined by bold leadership and strategic clarity. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the direction of major brands and orchestrating complex communication ecosystems.
Her leadership has helped bring campaigns recognition at prestigious international festivals, including Cannes Lions, Effie Europe and Romania, Eurobest, LIA, Clio, D&AD, One Show and Internetics. A frequent jury member, speaker and guest contributor, Roxana shares her insights on creativity, leadership and the evolving landscape of the communication industry.
Roxana Niță
Chief Creative Officer
Roxana is one of the 15 women selected by the prestigious Cannes Lions See It Be It (SIBI) programme in 2020, aimed towards uprising female creatives. She was chosen from over 800 applicants worldwide and is the only creative from Eastern Europe to be onboard. In 2021, she was selected as one of the 37 creatives from around the world to join Google’s Rare Leadership Academy, a program aimed at underrepresented categories.
She started her career by graduating the Art Directors Club Romania Academy and after winning the local Cannes Young Lion competition in 2012, she was selected to represent Romania at the ADC Europe’s Creative Express program. She’s also a graduate of Eurobest’s Young Digital Academy in 2015.
Currently CCO at DDB Romania, she has a background in art direction and has worked for over 15 years in agencies both big and small, including Cheil, Publicis and MRM//McCann and has a strong background in digital.
In her years as a creative, she constantly aimed to find communication solutions to social issues such as women’s rights and domestic violence. Her work has been awarded multiple times at festivals like Cannes Lions, D&AD, LIA Awards, Golden Drum, Eurobest, FIBRA Awards and other local shows. „Unquiet Voices”, her campaign fighting domestic violence, won praise not just in the advertising industry, but also at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival where it got screened.
Her campaign #UnExaminable tackled virginity testing and won 2 Cannes Lions, a D&AD pencil and the first Gold in Health for Romania at LIA Awards, while also managing to officially outlaw the tests from around the country.
Outside the office she has a thing for superheroes and typography and she never talks about herself in 3rd person.
Roxana Țâmpău
Chief Client & Business Officer
20+ years of experience in communication, advertising and middle management. And 10+ years of experience in top management.
Since joining the agency in 2007, Roxana has worked in different positions within the Client Service department. She has been responsible for leading key accounts, coordinating and forming the client service team and helping the agency grow and maximize its business results.
Since 2010, Roxana has focused on coordinating the agency teams at an operational level, developing and integrating the agency’s offer to constantly improve business and results.
Before that, Roxana worked as Client Service Responsible for Ogilvy & Mather Bucharest and Acart Communications Ottawa (Canada).
Luciana Cucoaneș
Chief Strategy & Insights Officer
Luciana has studied mathematics-physics and medicine only to realize that creative work is where her heart is. She got her first job in advertising in 2007 and in 2019 she joined DDB (The Group), where she found her favourite creative home.
Since then she’s been a passionate advertiser, a trainer for young colleagues and FJSC students, a Google partner in inspiration and ideation workshops and a part of the Effie Jury.
During her 20 years of experience in advertising, she’s contributed to the development of various types of projects, campaigns & marketing plans for local and international brands such as McDonald’s, PPC, Penny, Pepco, Notino, Dove, BCR, OTP, Radio Guerrilla, Leroy Merlin, Tymbark, Pepsi, Red Bull, Ciucaș, Grolsch, Silva, Active Watch, Greenpeace, Centrul Filia, and The Coalition for Gender Equality.
In strategy she brings med school-like discipline (deep dives before diagnostic and “strategic treatment”), fact-based problem solving, lateral thinking and creative ideation. In this ad world, she remembers to keep it light and look for the twist, being a deep believer in the symbiosis between strategy and creative. As a manager of people, she believes in democratic leadership and inspiration: influencing people without close control, forced authority or pressure.

Simina Dima
Chief Growth & Integration Officer
Simina is a creative and business leader with over 14 years of experience in advertising and communication. She started her career in creative, building her craft at agencies such as MullenLowe and McCann, before progressively expanding her role into business and leadership. For the past five years, she has been Managing Director of Tribal Romania, leading multidisciplinary teams of over 30 people, driving new business and connecting creativity, social, digital, technology and data around complex business challenges.
Her work sits at the intersection of creativity, commercial impact and people leadership. She brings together data, creativity, social, PR and technology into genuinely integrated solutions, with one clear ambition: to help clients grow their businesses and deliver measurable results.
Over the years, her projects have been recognized at major international creativity and effectiveness festivals, including Effie, New York Festivals, ADC, Internetics and the Gerety Awards. She is also a regular jury member and speaker at industry events. In 2018, she was selected by Cannes Lions for See It Be It, a global programme for some of the industry’s most promising female creative leaders.

Iulian Vegheș
Chief AI, Data & Technology Officer
With over 20 years of experience in marketing and communication, IulianVeghes has built his career at the intersection of marketing strategy, technology, and data. He has worked across e-commerce, retail, and digital businesses, holding senior leadership roles with a focus on performance marketing, customer acquisition, data analytics, and business growth.
Today, Iulian Veghes is Chief of Data & Technology at BBDO Romania, leading the integration of data, technology, and advertising to develop innovative solutions that help clients grow their businesses, strengthen their digital strategies, and achieve measurable results.
Alongside his industry experience, Iulianhas developed a strong academic career. He holds a PhD and is a lecturer at the University of Bucharest, combining academic knowledge with extensive hands-on expertise in marketing and communication.
For Iulian, a successful day at work is one in which he can say he learned something new, knowing that tomorrow will bring another opportunity to learn even more.
Sorina Mihai
Chief of Corporate Communication
Sorina Mihai started her career in communications in 1999 at Ogilvy & Mather, moving into public relations three years later — the beginning of a career that would become increasingly focused on corporate and brand reputation.
In 2006, she joined Porter Novelli Romania, where she went on to become Managing Partner and has led the agency for two decades. Throughout her career, Sorina has worked at the intersection of corporate and brand reputation, business strategy and marketing communications. Her work, and that of the teams she has led, has earned recognition at major international and local industry competitions, including the SABRE Awards EMEA, European Excellence Awards, Effie Awards, Romanian PR Awards and Webstock.
Today, Sorina is Chief of Corporate Communication at BBDO Romania, where she is building a more integrated approach to reputation — bringing together strategic communications, data intelligence and an emerging area of focus: how brands are understood, represented and recommended by AI platforms.
Outside the office, Sorina has a particular fascination with Japan and Japanese culture, loves travelling, and is drawn to the simple things that bring beauty, meaning and perspective to an increasingly complicated world.
